Clinical Medical Assistant Full-Time Course
Description
Total Course Hours - 600 (theory and lab - 420 hours; externship – 180 hours).
The Clinical Medical Assistant course aims to equip students with the necessary skills required to work as Clinical Medical Assistants at various healthcare facilities. From terminology and anatomy to clinical medical procedures, the course is designed to allow students to perform general and specific clinical medical assisting responsibilities in the healthcare arena. The course culminates with an externship, which help student to be ready to contribute to a medical environment.
Students are prepared to sit for the following certification exams: Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), EKG Technician (CET), Electronic Health Records (CEHRS), Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS), and Microsoft Office Certification (MOS).
The course makes it possible to obtain a student visa for the period of study in the United States.
Training takes place in groups of up to 10 people.
